Multiskilled is committed to providing
the highest reasonable standard of safety for
all the services and solutions we provide and
a safe and healthy working environment for employees,
contractors, visitors and third parties. Health
and Safety is fundamentally important.
Safety Statement
“Operations NEVER come before health and
safety at Multiskilled. If in your view any activity
carries an unacceptable level of risk we will
stop until the risk level is adequately addressed.
We DO NOT design or perform works that we know
(or should know) carry an unacceptable risk to
anybodies health or safety.”

The core health and safety risks for Multiskilled
are:
- Working with Electricity.
- Designing electrical systems which may be
a hazard to others.
- Programming automated control of industrial
plant which may be a hazard to others.
- New / inexperienced employees.
- Working in and about Industrial / Mining
operations.
- Contractors and their activities.
What Multiskilled will do
To achieve our desired state Multiskilled will:
- EDUCATE you properly in Health and Safety
matters relating to the work places we expose
you to and the work you perform for us.
- FACILITATE UNDERSTANDING through sharing
information and honing our ability to identify
and control risks.
- Provide you with EQUIPMENT AND WORK PLACES
that are fit for purpose and meet relevant standards.
- Provide you with readily accessible, up-to-date,
necessary INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE.
- Continuously IMPROVE the Multiskilled Health
and Safety System.
- Appropriately CONSULT and involve you.
What you should do
Safety starts with you:
- STOP AND THINK before undertaking tasks that
may compromise your safety. If you feel a task
cannot be done safely, discuss it with your
Supervisor or refer to the written Safe Working
Procedure for that task.
- Be alert to AVOID CREATING HAZARDS for yourself
or your work mates.
- Be ALERT TO CHANGES in scope or environment
which may mean the controls you first established
are inadequate.
- REPORT to your immediate Team Leader straight
away, any hazards that you are unable to correct
yourself.
- Get PERSONALLY INVOLVED in making Multiskilled
a healthy and safe place to work.
- UNDERSTAND AND CONTRIBUTE to achieving Multiskilled’s
goals.
