GENERAL COMMENT

Why Have Policies?

In essence, to inform and guide our practices. They provide a reference and clarity as to Multikslled’s desired outcomes, how to achieve them, and a standard against which we can measure. Governance also provides consistency in practices and decision making.

Too Much Red Tape?

Multiskilled tries to find the correct balance. On one hand we need govenerance to inform and guide and to ensure significant risks are controlled appropriately. On the other we want you to have freedom to think for yourself, adjust to specific circumstances and be involved.

Multiskilled approach the need for governance and control from a risk basis.

Core Risks – General to Multiskilled’s Operations

From a team review the general risks have been identified and registered. Risks extend beyond safety and include environment, business, financial, owners, third parties etc.
Governance, systems and practices have been estabslished to control these risks.
The policies made available on this website are the fundamental elements and lead to further policies, standards and work practice guidance.

Major Projects Risks

For complex or high risk projects Multiskilled will review the risks and estbalsih a project specific risk management document. This will likely include / refer to the general risks and controls that Multiskilled has in place and may also include additional risks and ocntrols that have been identified specific to the project in question.
