Water Management Systems

Multiskilled Resources Australia (MRA) has been involved in the design, implementation and day to day maintenance of various Water Management Systems across the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Areas. Some of these include:

  • Narama Open Cut Mine
  • Ravensworth East Open Cut Mine
  • PWCS Kooragang

Control of the water management systems is typically achieved by using a PLC based Control System utilising Radio Telemetry to relay information from station to station. Operator Control is achieved by using MMI screens displaying real time information and control of the whole system.

Pictured is a typical PLC based remote Water Management Station.
